Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

NOTE:  The cabin temperature sensor will give an incorrect reading if the cigarette lighter or cover is not in place. This is because heated air will then
be sucked through the hole for the cigarette lighter from the rear of the dashboard and into the cabin temperature sensor. The cabin temperature sensor
must not be placed anywhere else in the dashboard. If no cabin temperature reading can be obtained, a default value will be calculated on the basis of
outside temperature, blended-air temperature, fan current and sunlight intensity.

In Car Temperature Sensor (Cabin Temperature Sensor)

The cabin temperature sensor is mounted in the dashboard below the ACC control module. It has an integral suction fan which sucks the cabin air
past an NTC resistor.
