Discharge Air Temperature Sensor (Blended Air Temperature Sensor)
The blended-air temperature sensor is of NTC type with a pointed tip which is introduced into one of the heating and ventilation unit floor vents.
It is placed in the floor vent because the air there is completely blended and the air supply for it is assured, regardless of the air distribution setting,
due to controlled leakage.
