Low Fuel Lamp/Indicator: Testing and Inspection
Fault symptoms
The lamp does not light up when the ignition switch is turned to the Drive position.
The lamp does not light up when the tank contents are down to about 8 litres.
Diagnostic procedure

If the lamp does not light up the bulb is probably faulty and will have to be changed.

Check the conductive foil by measuring the resistance between pin 11 (12p-1) and the screw marked "F-W". If there is an open circuit, change the
foil.
