Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair
The brake light switch is actuated mechanically by the brake pedal. It is located in the pedal assembly.
The switch should be adjusted so that the brake lights come on when the pedal is depressed about 10 mm.

Remove the lower part of the instrument panel on the driver's side.

Turn the brake light switch in either direction and lift it out.

Unplug the connector.
Install in reverse order.
