Knee Diverter: Service and Repair
Passenger Side Replacement

Removal 
    

1. Open the glove compartment. Open the covers and remove the retaining screws (A).
2. Remove the other retaining screws (B) and the retaining bolt as well as the expansion rivet in the front edge and unfasten the snap fastener from

the bulk-head bracket.

3. Pull out the glove compartment and  unplug the glove compartment lighting connector (C).
4. Lift out the glove compartment.
5. Remove the panel on the side of the center console (D).
6. Remove the bolts securing the knee member and lift it out (E).

    
Installation 

1. Place the knee member in position and tighten the bolts (E).
2. Install the panel to the side of the center console (D).
3. Plug in the glove compartment lighting connector and refit the glove compartment (C).
4. Install the expansion rivet, the securing bolt, the retaining screws and the covers on the glove compartment (B and A).
