Rear Object Alarm Module Replacement (PAS)

Removal Procedure

1. When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit, carry out a "Reset" using the Tech 2. For reprogramming procedures, refer to

Control Module References   (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning).

2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Open the service flap.

4. Disconnect the wiring harness plug for the rear electronics module (REC).

Disconnect the 6 wiring harness plugs (1).

Unlock and detach.

5. Release the rear electronics module (REC).

Remove the nut (arrow).

6. Remove the REC.

Release the object alarm module.

7. Remove the object alarm module (2).
