3. Partially loosen the water vapor barrier (1).

Remove the external mirror wiring harness.
*
Remove the 2 cable brackets (2).
4. Remove the check link.
Remove the 2 nuts (1).
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. Install the check link.
Tighten the 2 nuts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
2. Install the water vapor barrier.
