Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair
Power Sunroof Motor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Lower the molded headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Replacement (Coupe) (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the power sunroof motor.
1. Remove the 3 bolts (1).
2. Disconnect the wiring harness plug (2).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the power sunroof motor.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Connect the wiring harness plug.
Tighten the 3 bolts to 7 Nm (62 lb in).
3. Install the molded headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair
)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel
Replacement (Coupe) (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair).
Note: Open and close the sliding sunroof fully.
