3. Remove the left and right molding. 

*

Remove the 2 bolts.

*

Remove the molding.

4. Remove the rear seat backrest seat inclination adjustment.

5. Replace the mount.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear seat backrest seat inclination adjustment.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the left and right molding.

Tighten 2 bolts to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

3. Install the active head restraint frame.

Insert the frame.

Tighten the 2 bolts to 3.5 Nm (26 lb in).

Install the active head restraint tension spring.

Note:  Install the lumbar support in vehicles with lumbar support.

4. Install upholstery covering for front seat backrest. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement   (See: Driver or Passenger

Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement).

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the upholstery covering for the front seat backs. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement   (See: Driver or

Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement).
