3. Remove the 8 seal rings (1) carefully by hand.
Installation Procedure
1. Push the 8 new seal rings (1, 2) carefully on the valves.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the new EBCM to hydraulic modulator.
Tighten the hydraulic modulator bolts to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
1. Push the EBCM onto the hydraulic modulator carefully without tilting it.
2. Attach 3 new bolts.
3. Install the hydraulic modulator with EBCM. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement (See: Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
Systems/Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes/Service and Repair/Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement).
4. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning).
