Water Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement   (See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air

Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair). 

2. Remove the water pump strap disc (1).

Remove the 3 bolts (2).

*

Do not remove.

*

Counterhold against the bolt of the torsional vibration damper.

3. Raise the vehicle by its full height.
4. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement   (See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and

Repair).
