7. Remove the oxygen sensor (1).
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. Install the oxygen sensor.
Coat the threads of the oxygen sensor with anti-seize mounting paste.
Tighten the oxygen sensor to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
2. Install the front exhaust pipe/auxiliary catalytic converter.

Install the front exhaust pipe/auxiliary catalytic converter to the catalytic converter with the new gasket.
Tighten the 3 new nuts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

Install the front exhaust pipe/auxiliary catalytic converter to the center muffler.
Tighten the clamp fitting to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
3. Connect the wiring harness for the oxygen sensor.
Connect the wiring harness plug.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Close the hood.
