Driver or Passenger Seat Side Air Bag Module Replacement

Cut off flush with the retaining plate at positions 1, 2 and 3.

Deburr the edges.
Installation Procedure
1. Use a touch-up pen matching the color of the vehicle to repair any paint damage.
2. Install the 6 fastening clips.
Install the fastening clips.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the new roof side rail module.
Tighten the 8 screws to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).
4. Connect and latch the wiring harness plug.
Note: The removal and replacement of the windshield is not required.
5. Install the headlining trim panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
