1. Position the shock absorber to the vehicle.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the upper shock bolt.

Tighten to 90 Nm (67 lb ft).

3. Install the lower shock bolt.

Tighten to 130 Nm (96 lb ft).

4. Remove the jackstand. 
5. In the vehicles with CDC chassis, connect the proportional valve wiring harness plug. 
6. Install the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
7. Lower the vehicle.
