Note: Do not change the position of the transmission control rod.
5. Install the transmission control rod.
Tighten the bolt (1) to 12 Nm (106 lb in) plus 180-225 degrees.
6. Release the transmission control lock.
Detach the KM-527-A (1).
Note: The locking pin in the adjusting bore hole releases automatically when first shifted in the "R" direction, if necessary release the locking pin
by hand.
7. Release the locking pin in the gearbox cover.
8. Inspect the ease of gear shifting.
