Hinge Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to Compartment Lid Replacement - Rear  (See: Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the wire harness rosebuds from the hinge arm.
3. Remove the torque rods. Refer to Torque Rod Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid  (See: Trunk / Liftgate Shock / Support/Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the trim panel from the rear window. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf (Early Production)  (See: Interior Moulding

5. Remove the compartment lid hinge nuts.
6. Remove the compartment lid hinge.
