3. Position the hook end of the J 38400 (1) under the universal spring and lightly pull the universal spring end out, away from the hub, while

installing the spring end into the shoe web hole.

4. Install the brake drum. 
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. 
6. Lower the vehicle.
