Look for PINK tape on the tail lamp harness (see illustration). Tape may vary in length between 30 mm and 100 mm (1.125 in to 4 in).
If pink tape is present, do NOT perform Service Procedure. Replace park/turn signal bulb (refer to "Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement" in
the Body section of the 2004 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol. 3) and perform diagnostic check (refer to "Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)
Inoperative" diagnostic in the Body section of the 2004 Saturn ION Service Manual, Vol. 3).
If pink tape is not present, then proceed to Service Procedure.

Light Components, Resistor - Replace). Add Times have been included for Installing Two DRL resistors, and if required, Headlamp Harnesses.
