1. Slide the pretensioner retractor into the pocket in the center pillar.
2. Install the bolt while holding the pretensioner in place.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the retractor pretensioner.
4. Install the lower trim panel to the center pillar.
5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe) SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan) or to SIR Disabling and

Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe) SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan).

6. Inspect the seat belt for proper operation.
