Tie Rod End: Service and Repair

Tie Rod End Replacement - Outer

Tools Required

SA91 100C Tie Rod Separator

Removal Procedure 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the front wheel.
3. Loosen the outer tie rod to inner tie rod jam nut.

4. Remove the tie rod to steering knuckle nut and discard.

5. Use the SA91 1OOC to separate the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle.
