1. Use J 25070 to heat the rear spoiler mounting surfaces.
2. Remove the backing from the adhesive on the spoiler mounting locations.
3. Position the studs of the spoiler into the clearance holes of the rear compartment lid.

Important:  Do not touch the adhesive backing.

4. Apply even pressure to the spoiler to allow for proper adhesion to the rear compartment lid.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the nuts to the rear compartment lid spoiler.

Tighten the nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

6. Close the rear compartment.
