This bulletin is being updated to include the 2005 model year. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 04-06-01-004 (Section 06 - Engine/Propulsion
System).
Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide updated information regarding engine support when removing the right front engine mount.
Procedure
Note:
Use the listed tools, or equivalent, to properly support the engine assembly during the "Right Front Engine Mount Assembly" removal and
installation procedures. Do NOT use a floor jack and block of wood to support the engine assembly. The engine oil pan is not designed to
support engine weight and may cause oil pan damage.
