7. Remove the remaining components from the shock absorber. Note there location for assembly.
8. Inspect the inner and outer shock absorber bushings for damage or deterioration and replace if necessary.
9. Inspect the shock bumper for damage or deterioration and replace if necessary.
10. Inspect the spring upper insulator and replace if necessary.
11. If replacing the shock, remove the shock from the S A9155S.
Installation Procedure
1. If replacing the shock, mount the shock on the S A9155S.
2. Extend the shock to its travel limit.
Important: Make sure that the spring is located in the correct position.
3. Install the shock components as noted during removal.
