LW100 L4-2.2L VIN F (2002)
5. Remove caliper-to-bracket guide pins.
6. Remove caliper assembly.
7. Remove inboard and outboard brake pads from caliper assembly.
8. Inspect:

Guide pin boots and covers for damage. If damaged, replace.

Piston boot for deterioration. If damaged, overhaul the caliper.

Guide pin for damage or corrosion. Replace if damaged or corroded (do not attempt to clean away corrosion).
9. Repeat steps 3 through 8 for opposite side of vehicle.
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: Never replace brake pads on one side of axle only. Left and right side brake pads must be replaced only as axle sets.
IMPORTANT: Piston boot must lie flat, below level of the piston face.
