Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Water

2. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door   (See: Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair) in Doors.
3. Remove the front door window regulator module. Refer to Door Module Replacement - Front  See: Locks/Door Locks/Door Module/Service and

Repair .

4. Remove the front door outside handle rod (1) from the outside handle.
5. Remove the lock rod from the outside handle lock cylinder.
6. Disconnect the front door lock module harness connector, if equipped.
