Remove connector position assurance devices from the two, yellow two-way connectors located near the base of the steering column and
disconnect the connectors.
3.
Follow steps 6-7 of the "Service Procedure for Installation of Air Bag On-Off Switches" in this bulletin.
4.
Remove connector position assurance devices from the two, yellow two-way connectors from the passenger air bag and disconnect the connectors.
5.
Follow steps 9-11 of the "Service Procedure for Installation of Air Bag On-Off Switches" in this bulletin.
6.
Disconnect air bag Off display connector(s) to air bag On-Off switch(es).
7.
For each air bag On-Off switch to be removed from the vehicle:
a.
Cut the Pink wire(s) from the air bag On-Off switch(es) to the White wire(s) from the connector replacement pack
b.
Tape ends of cut White wire(s).
