Information on New Windshield Washers Mid-Year Product Change
MODELS AFFECTED:
All 1992 Saturns built from, and including VIN NZ251190.
Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide technical information on the changes made to the windshield washers and service procedures for the new
design. The windshield washer nozzles have been moved from the hood to the shroud top vent grille assembly to improve the wash of the windshield.
The part number for the new nozzles is 21049096.
Washer Nozzle Removal and Installation
Removal
1.
Remove shroud top vent grille. Refer to "Shroud Top Vent Grille Removal" procedure in the "Front End" section of the "Body/Collision Repair
Service Manual."
2.
Disconnect washer fluid hose from vent grille.
3.
Disconnect washer fluid hose from washer nozzle.
4.
Pinch attachment fingers on bottom of nozzle and remove nozzle.
