Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
Replacement

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

2. Remove intake air duct, air filter box and resonator.
3. Remove fan motor electrical connector.
4. Remove wiring harness from shroud.

5. Remove top hold down bolt from coolant fan assembly.

NOTE:  On models with automatic transaxle it may be necessary to loosen top automatic transaxle oil cooler line and move it out of the way. On
non-A/C fan, the above step is not necessary.
