BULLETIN NO.: 94-T-45
ISSUE DATE: October, 1994
GROUP/SEQ. NO.: Chassis-05
CORPORATION NO.: 483101
SUBJECT:
Service Information on Steering Pull, Torque Steer, and Wander Conditions
MODELS AFFECTED:
1991-1995 Saturns
PURPOSE:
This bulletin provides information on the diagnosis of steering pull, torque steer, and wander conditions. This information is also in the "1995 Chassis
Service Manual."
For both steering pull and torque steer conditions, a series of tire rotations must be performed, in their entirety, to ensure that one or more tires are not
the cause of the vehicle's steering pull or torque steer. All possibilities of a tire related lead or pull must be eliminated before any wheel alignment
adjustments are made.
If a steering pull, torque steer or wander condition is present, use the "Road Test Chart" in this bulletin to determine which condition exists.
