Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
1.
Install suitable cover over drivers seat.
2.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
3.
Pull edge of horn pad to unclip.
4.
Disconnect horn pad electrical connectors, then remove pad.
5.
Remove steering column shaft clip, then remove wheel attaching nut.
6.
Using steering wheel puller tool No. J-1859-03 or equivalent, remove steering wheel.
7.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering wheel attaching nut to 30 ft. lbs.
