Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
1.
Remove console as described under ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE/DISC BRAKES/PARKING BRAKE.
2.
Remove adjuster nut, equalizer and cable from threaded rod.
3.
Using tool No. SA9151BR or equivalent, remove parking brake cables from console bracket.
4.
Raise and support vehicle.
5.
Remove park brake grommet and cable assembly from floor pan.
6.
Remove trailing arm/park brake cable to to body attaching fasteners.
7.
Remove cable attaching nut at floor pan.
8.
Disconnect cable from caliper lever, then using tool No. SA9151BR or equivalent, remove cable from brake, then remove.
9.
Reverse procedure to install.
