Raise liftgate. Remove wedge blocks from liftgate.

Remove liftgate lower trim panel lower fasteners by pushing in center pin until it clicks (approximately 3 mm [1/8 in.]) and remove fasteners.
4.
Insert a screwdriver into hole in liftgate lower trim near rear wiper pivot so that screwdriver sits on top of pivot. Lift up on screwdriver handle and
disengage trim panel upper clips as shown in view A. Remove trim panel.
