REMOVAL

1. Remove front door trim panel.
2. Remove energy absorbing foam from door structure.

CAUTION: IF ENERGY ABSORBING FOAM IS REMOVED FROM DOOR IT MUST BE REPLACED WITH AN NEW PART. IF
OMITTED FROM THE DOOR THE VEHICLE WILL NOT MEET FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS (FMVSS),
SUBJECTING THE RETAILER TO POSSIBLE CIVIL PENALTIES FOR MAKING THE VEHICLE INOPERATIVE TO THE FMVSS,
AND INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY TO THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS.

INSTALLATION

1. Remove tape backing and install to door structure.
2. Reinstall door trim panel.

Outer Belt Seal

REMOVAL

1. Remove door outer panel.
2. Remove door sound deadener panel.

NOTICE:  Apply only enough tension so that sound deadener panel releases from the door structure. A heat gun will help this process. Apply heat to
the back side of the door structure flange.

INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT: Make sure attaching points are clean and dry. If sound deadener panel has been damaged during removal it must be replaced.

1. Using locating holes position sound deadener panel to structure. Make sure proper alignment is achieved. Improper alignment could cause outer

panel misalignment.
