To seal hood hinge-to-body bolts, remove one bolt at a time to avoid movement of hood hinge adjustment and apply 3M(R) Bedding and Glazing
Compound (P/N 08509), or equivalent, to threads of bolt.
5.
Install bolt and torque.
Torque:
Hood Hinge-to-Body Bolts: 25 Nm (18 ft-lbs)
6.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for remaining bolts.
7.
Water test the frame rail/hood hinge area to verify repair.
8.
Align front fender as necessary and install fasteners at top and rear of front fender.
Torque:
Front Fender-to-Body Bolts: 10 Nm (89 in-lbs)
9.
Install wheelhouse liner-to-fender fasteners.
