SW1 L4-1.9L SOHC VIN 8 (1996)
Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
1. Remove console.
2. Remove adjuster nut, equalizer and cable from threaded rod.
3. Using tool No. SA9151BR, or equivalent, remove parking brake cables from console bracket.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Remove park brake grommet and cable assembly from floor pan.
6. Remove trailing arm/park brake cable to body attaching fasteners.
7. Remove cable attaching nut at floor pan.
8. Disconnect cable from caliper lever, then using tool No. SA9151BR, or equivalent, remove cable from brake, then remove from vehicle.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
