Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Fig. 130 Rear Hub & Bearing Assembly Replacement.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove tire and wheel assembly, then disconnect electrical connector from speed sensor.
3. Remove two caliper to knuckle mounting bolts, then suspend caliper from strut spring with wire.
4. Remove rotor from hub, then the four hub to knuckle attaching bolts,  Fig. 130.  
5. Remove hub and bearing assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install, torque hub to knuckle bolts and caliper to knuckle bolts to 63 ft. lbs.
