PROTECT YOURSELF BY WEARING SAFETY GLASSES WHEN PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE.

Thoroughly clean the upper engine mount assembly front cover stud holes using a 10 mm x 1.5 tap. Use compressed air to remove particles from
the holes.

NOTICE:

To prevent damage to the front cover when upper engine mount assembly front cover studs are installed, do not over apply Loctite(R) 242
Threadlocker or equivalent; do not allow Loctite(R) Threadlocker or equivalent to accumulate in the bottoms of the stud holds.

Apply Loctite(R) 242 Threadlocker (P/N 21485277) or equivalent to six to eight middle threads of the upper engine mount assembly front cover
studs.

5.

Install upper engine mount assembly front cover studs into engine front cover.

Torque: 25 N.m (18 ft-lbs)
