Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove nuts securing exhaust pipe to manifold.
2. Lower exhaust pipe and discard gasket, then lower vehicle.
3. Remove A/C compressor and rear compressor bracket.
4. Remove two front exhaust pipe to engine stiffening bracket attaching bolts.
5. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector, then remove sensor.
6. Remove exhaust manifold attaching nuts, then remove manifold and discard gasket.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten exhaust manifold attaching nuts to specifications in sequence, Fig. 10.
