Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect in-line fuel connector, located in the rear compartment on the driver side behind the carpet.
2. Using cluster tester tool No. SA9205Z, or equivalent, and a digital multimeter (set to OHMS scale), connect the leads to terminals B and C of the
connector going to the front of the vehicle.
3. Turn ignition switch to Run position (do not start engine).
4. Set resistances as shown in Fig. 4. .
5. If fuel gauge reading is not accurate, replace cluster.
