5.

Cut a small piece of insulator material (P/N 21040429) to 15.87 x 12.70 mm (5/8 x 1/2 in.), and apply to center support of the instrument cluster
back housing as shown in illustration.

IMPORTANT:

The insulator is released for the 1992-1996 upper I/P trim pad; however, it can be used for this purpose, when cut to the measurements given above.

6.

Reinstall tachometer assembly, making sure both locking tabs are fully seated.

7.

Install new speedometer/odometer assembly.

8.

Install instrument cluster assembly.

Parts Requirements

IMPORTANT:

For Canadian Retailers, the revised service parts can be identified by a label marked "R2," both on the shipping box and the speedometer head.
