Oil Pressure Gauge: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect oil pressure sender/switch connector, located on right side of engine.
2. Using cluster tester tool No. SA9205Z, or equivalent, and a digital multimeter (set to OHMS scale), connect one lead to oil pressure sender/switch
connector and one lead to engine ground.
3. Turn ignition switch to Run position (do not start engine).
4. Set input resistances as shown in Fig. 9. .
5. If oil pressure gauge reading is not correct, replace cluster.
