Dome Lamp: Description and Operation
When the dome lamp is in the ON position the dome lamp will be on at all times. When in the OFF position the dome lamp will be off at all times. When
the dome lamp is in the DOOR position the dome lamp will be on whenever a door is open.
There are some additional features on vehicles equipped with Remote Keyless Entry.
Illuminated Entry
When in the DOOR position the dome lamp will be controlled by the doors and the transmitter. When a door is opened, the dome lamp will come on.
When all the doors are closed, the dome lamp will stay on for 40 seconds, or until the ignition is turned on.
When Lock is pressed on the transmitter.
The dome lamp will come on for 2 seconds as soon as all the doors are closed.
When Unlock or the vehicle symbol is pressed on the transmitter.
The dome lamp will come on and remain on for 40 seconds or until the ignition is turned on.
