Camshaft Position Sensor: Locations

Camshaft Position Sensor

This vehicle does not have a Camshaft Position Sensor. The manufacture does make references to "CAM" in some of the trouble code descriptions
but this is NOT a reference to a Camshaft Position Sensor. 

Notes On System Inputs

The EI module does not receive a signal from the crankshaft position sensor. Instead the CPK sensor signal is being received and processed by the
PCM. The El module does, however, contain circuitry to determine camshaft position without using a camshaft sensor, by use of compression sense
ignition (CSI).
