Intake Air Temperature: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Turn ignition Off.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from IAT sensor.

NOTE: The connector must be removed by squeezing the sides. Apply pressure to sides of connector gently with pliers. Do not pull on wires.

3. Remove air inlet temperature sensor using a deep well 13 mm socket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install IAT sensor. 

Torque: 5 N.m (44 in-lbs)

2. Connect electrical connector to the air intake temperature sensor. Push in on connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive

engagement.
