Loosen defroster duct by removing screws and unsnapping duct from mode valve assembly. (The defroster duct should only be lifted enough to
provide clearance to route the air bag On-Off switch wire harnesses.)

Remove air bag On-off switch(es) and wiring harness(es) from vehicle.

Remove air bag Off display assembly (or assemblies):

On vehicles without a sunroof, remove air bag Off display assembly (or assemblies) and wiring harness from headliner.

On vehicles with a sunroof, using a small screwdriver, remove sunroof bezel, air bag Off display assembly or (assemblies) and wiring harness.
Then, reinstall sunroof bezel by snapping into place.

11.

Remove wiring for the air bag Off display assembly (or assemblies). Wiring runs across the front of headliner, tucked between headliner and roof
panel, and continues down right A-pillar to I/P compartment opening.
