NOTICE:  Rear wheel alignment must be set to specifications before front alignment adjustment.

CASTER

1. Lock steering wheel in straight ahead position.
2. Remove and discard upper strut mount attaching nuts.
3. Slide strut forward or rearward to adjust caster. Movement of approximately .157 inch will change caster by about 1/2 of a degree.  Body

attachment holes may need to be filed or ground into oval slots to allow enough front to rear strut movement to adjust caster to
specifications. Do not exceed .354 inch in slot width.

4. Install new upper strut mount attaching nuts, then  torque to 21 ft. lbs.
5. Recheck caster angle.

CAMBER

1. Lock steering wheel in straight ahead position.
2. Loosen two strut to knuckle fasteners, then pull or push to adjust.
3. If more than three degrees of camber is desired, check for bent suspension components.
4. If suspension is satisfactory, proceed as follows:
a. Raise and support vehicle.
b. Remove wheel assembly.
c. Remove strut to knuckle attaching bolts, then separate knuckle from strut bracket.
d. Using a file or grinder, remove material from strut bracket lower hole,  Fig. 1.  
e. To increase negative camber, remove from outside hole, to increase positive camber, remove from inside hole.
f.

Torque strut to knuckle attaching bolts to 148 ft. lbs.

g. Install wheel assembly and torque wheel lug nuts to 103 ft. lbs., then recheck camber setting and lower vehicle.

CRADLE

Check cradle to body alignment at two alignment holes using  5/16 inch rod, Fig. 2.  If cradle to body alignment is not correct, loosen cradle
fasteners and align cradle to body.

Front Toe Adjustment

NOTICE:  Rear wheel alignment must be set to specifications before front alignment adjustment.

TOE-IN

1. Lock steering wheel in straight ahead position.
2. Loosen left and right outer tie rod jam nuts.
3. Turn inner tie rod, by flats, to change toe.
