1992-1997 Saturns equipped with automatic transaxles (MP6/MP7)
PURPOSE:
This bulletin provides technical information on changes to the:

Torque converter housing
^
Oil pump wear plate
IMPORTANT:
In this bulletin, the new torque converter housings and oil pump wear plates will be referred to as second design. The previous design torque
converter housings and oil pump wear plates will be referred to as first design.
A running change was made to the torque converter housing and oil pump wear plate during 1996 model year. Both the first and second design torque
converter housings and oil pump wear plates were installed on vehicles during 1996 model production. For 1997 vehicles, only the second design torque
converter housing and oil pump wear plate are installed in vehicles.
