REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery terminals. Disconnect ground terminal first.
2. Remove battery shield, then battery.
3. Remove battery tray.
4. Loosen transaxle connector bolt, then disconnect electrical connector.
5. On models equipped with ABS, remove master cylinder to booster attaching nuts, then lift cylinder slightly to remove valve body cover, then
position cylinder back on booster studs. See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems
6. Remove valve body cover attaching bolts.
7. Remove eleven valve body to case bolts as shown in Fig. 5.
