Install front door outer panel. (Refer to "Front Door Outer Panel" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair Service Manual.)

Clunking Noise In the Full-Up Position (Power Windows Only)

1.

Remove front door trim panel on door where clunking noise is heard. (Refer to "Front Door Trim Panel" in the "Doors" section of the
Body/Repair Service Manual.)

2.

Remove front door outer panel. (Refer to "Front Door Outer Panel" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair Service Manual.)

IMPORTANT:

The front side door insulator assembly is called the door sound deadener in the service manual.

Remove front side door insulator assembly. (Refer to "Door Sound Deadener Panel-Sedan/Wagon" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair
Service Manual.)

4.

Remove power window regulator assembly. (Refer to "Front Door Window Regulator/Motor" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair Service
Manual.)

NOTICE: 

When grinding off rivet heads, make sure not to damage the electrical connector plastic housing on the motor.

5.

Remove the two forward power window motor attachment rivets by grinding off the rivet heads from the backside of the power window regulator
assembly.

6.

Install two bolts (P/N 11514008) and nuts (P/N 21006316) and tighten. (Make sure to install as shown in illustration with nuts on the backside of
the power window regulator assembly and tighten nuts.)

Torque: Nut 9 N.m (80 in-lbs)

7.

Install power window regulator assembly. (Refer to "Front Door Window Regulator/Motor" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair Service
Manual.)

8.

Install front door trim panel. (Refer to "Front Door Trim Panel" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair Service Manual.)

9.

Install front side door insulator assembly. (Refer to "Door Sound Deadener Panel-Sedan/Wagon" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair
Service Manual.)

10.

Install front door outer panel. (Refer to "Front Door Outer Panel" in the "Doors" section of the Body/Repair Service Manual.)
