6. Remove CPA and disconnect yellow driver SIR connector, located near the base of the steering column on left side of steering column support
bracket.
Disabling the Curtain Inflators (If Equipped)
1. Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicle's wheels are pointing straight ahead.
2. Turn ignition switch to the OFF position and remove key.
3. Remove AIRBAG mini-fuse from instrument panel fuse block (IPFB).
4. Pop center push pins located in the upper headliner trim panel.
